Each year the Gift of Life Walk brings the Canberra community together in a powerful show of support for organ and tissue donation. In 2025, Damsel and Sprout returned for a third consecutive year as event delivery partner for this important cause.

More than 800 participants walked the shores of Lake Burley Griffin, celebrating the lives saved through donation and raising awareness for those still waiting.

A morning with heart

The walk is more than a morning stroll; it’s a movement. Participants walk for people they’ve lost, people they’ve saved, and people still waiting, and the event’s atmosphere carries all three at once: reflective, hopeful and warm.

Music by the water

The Boombox2U DJ booth brought music to the lakeside, keeping energy high and spirits lifted, and giving the start and finish lines a festival feel that matched the inclusive spirit of the cause.
